Deborah E. Sewitch, Ph.D., CPC, is a psychologist, a life coach focusing on cancer survivors (a survivor of breast cancer herself), a third generation astrologer, a sound healer, and a PhD diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine since 1984. She held faculty appointments at four medical schools: Yale University, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Pittsburgh, and the University of Illinois at Chicago and was a government contractor for SAMHSA's National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP) and the National Cancer Institute's Registry of Research-tested Intervention Programs (RTIPs) websites. Dr. Sewitch has authored or co-authored 54 articles on sleep in peer-reviewed scientific journals and served as a scientific reviewer for two institutes of the National Institutes of Health and the Veterans Administration.
