The Farmer’s Dog was created in 2014 by two dog lovers, Brett Podolsky and Jonathan Regev, after the pair witnessed the transformative power fresh food had on the health of their pups. They soon realized that the way pet food was being marketed was very different than the way it was made, so they began to rethink the pet food industry from the ground up.Instead of highly-processed, shelf-stable products, they decided to create a simple, healthy food they wished had existed for their own dogs (and dogs everywhere!) — that meant making fresh and balanced food as accessible and easy to feed as possible. Today, The Farmer’s Dog has served tens of millions of meals nationwide through its personalized plans, delivering fresh, healthy food to dogs and peace of mind to their humans.
