Why People Cheat: A Relationship Expert Explains
Editor's Note: For 10 years, renowned relationship therapist Esther Perel has traveled the globe working with couples whose relationships have been uprooted by infidelity. In this talk, Perel eloquently sheds light on the poorly understood topic of infidelity, which, as she points out is both universally forbidden, but also universally practiced. She answers the question, “Why do we cheat?” and offers insight about how to know whether infidelity is a relationship breaking point, or an opportunity to jolt into new possibilities.
