With summer in full swing, it's the perfect time to pop out your blender and mix in some fresh seasonal ingredients. Cue: peaches. We wait all year to bite into a sweet, juicy, refreshing peach, and now it's time.

This ginger peach smoothie from The Peach Truck Cookbook by Jessica and Stephen Rose is the perfect way to get your peach fix (and why not have a bite before you put the rest in the smoothie). It's packed with anti-inflammatory ingredients like fresh ginger, which is also high in antioxidants. It also includes banana so you can get your dose of magnesium and potassium.

No smoothie is fit without superfoods, and this one is no exception. This delicious blend contains flaxseed, an ingredient high in omega-3 fatty acids and fiber to support your heart and digestive health.

While this smoothie is already sweet, if you want to go a little sweeter, you can add in a few more dates, extra honey, or more almond milk. For those who are dairy-free, you can swap out the plain yogurt for coconut yogurt, and you'll still get that creamy texture.

We know the peach season is short, so if you find yourself wishing you could have peaches year-round, consider freezing them, and make this smoothie in the fall or winter to remind you of warmer days.
