This is the perfect time of year to add some extra-energizing breakfasts to your morning routine. This raw muesli will leave you feeling satiated and satisfied all morning (it will also give you a ton of energy, unlike the dreaded doughnut breakfast).

Superfood Raw Muesli (vegan, gluten free, soy free )

  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1 kiwi, chopped
  • 1 apple, chopped
  • 1/4 cup raspberries
  • 1/4 cup dried coconut
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • 1/3 cup almonds, chopped
  • Fresh almond milk

Directions:

Place everything in your bowl, cover with almond milk and stir.

I’m not a fan of New Years resolutions. I feel like it’s way too much pressure. Instead, I decide what I want to feel more of, and I work on doing more of that. It’s a no-pressure way to work on being my best all year long.

If one of your wants is to feel more energized, then food is a great place to start. What we put in our mouth has a great deal to do with how much energy we have and how we feel. Eating healthy, plant-based meals will have you going all day long without feeling like you need to crash.
