In this new series, Heather Askinosie, the holistic healer behind Energy Muse, will share her advice on how to harness the power of crystals to fulfill your astrological destiny. She’ll work off monthly forecasts from the AstroTwins, forming one heck of a spiritual duo. Get ready to cleanse that celestite and hold tight to that tourmaline because you’re about to see crystals in a whole new way.
Stars make perfect alignment look so easy. Night after night, even in constant rotation, their gravitational pull puts them right where they need to be. We, on the other hand, can only rely on gravity to keep us rooted to the Earth. In terms of being on schedule in life, right where we need to be and when, we have to put in a little more work.
Gravity can’t do much to keep our minds or emotions from floating away, so it’s up to us to pull them back in. Using the energy of the Earth is a great way to realign with the cosmos, get a handle on our flighty emotions, and get back in tune with our deepest wants and needs. Crystals can help us remember our paths in times of chaos, so mindfully harmonize yourself with the Earth’s energy of stability to continue your pursuits no matter what craziness the stars inspire.
What we express outwardly is what we express inwardly. Our words have power.
Mars enters Aries (Jan 28)
As the Astrotwins told us, Mars has returned to its home sign of Aries for the month, and we can expect to feel a frenzy of fiery, hot-blooded emotions. It’s great to have passions enticed, but our message can get lost to the flames of our rhetoric when we are supercharged.
Crystals that hold the energy of water, such as Aquamarine, Blue Lace Agate, Sodalite or Dumortierite, can all take the fire out of your voice and bring back your calm wisdom. Throw some water on the fire, and allow the bare truth to shine through.
Before you go to bed, lay one of these crystals over your throat and visualize a waterfall of healing energy taking away any fire and removing any words that are not empowering to you or others.
Valentine's Day (Feb 14)
While this is a challenging time for many of us, it's also one that celebrates love and togetherness. To harness this energy, you can cherish a soulmate, celebrate a passion, or infuse yourself into hobby you’ve let fade into the background lately. There’s space in your heart for love this month, so let it in! Get aligned with passion by letting go of whatever is holding you back.
Carry a Pink Opal and a Rhodonite in your pocket or pop them in your bra to work in tandem. They'll help you let go of whatever is keeping you from fully embracing the essence of unconditional love. When you wake up in the morning and before you go to bed at night, say this mantra: "My heart is open to fully experience unconditional love at its highest level."
Crystals for overcoming negativity all month
The Astrotwins established that we’re at a point in the consciousness where we have to shift the energy from what’s not working to the energy of a new world. In the past, war, anger, hate and fear have not empowered us as people. As we unite as human beings and come together, love will conquer all. Love will win. That’s not a spiritual, new-age concept—it’s the truth.
And maybe that’s where our revolution needs to start. Shifting history to create a new reality where we can all stand in the light and with love, together as a human race. We are all light workers. We can be stars on Earth.
To bring out your inner shining star, align with the energies of light crystals, like Citrine, Clear Quartz and Amethyst. They will all remind you to look up at the stars and remember that we are the same. When we bring that star energy down to the Earth, our whole human race will light up.
